About the character: Risa is a girl who has been tall her whole life. Even in 6th grade she was taller than the tallest boy in class. She makes an agreement with Otani, who is shorter than most boys, to help each other impress their crushes. When all plans fail they become good friends and are known to the whole class as the comedian couple Honshin Kyojin because they always fight over the most trivial things. Risa is a bright, fun girl who lacks confidence in the boys field. She's very obsessed with this musician Umibozu (an obsession she shares with Otani :D)

Why this character: Risa is just so idiotic sometimes, she puts herself in the most hilarious/embarrassing situations. She's a freakishly tall clumsy girl with the funniest facial expressions. I love watching her relationship with her friends. It's also fun to watch her feelings for Otani change and evolve and her desperate ways to get his confession XD I like her red orangey hair a lot, and those hair does and pins she uses ^_^ For weeks after finishing this anime and even now when I remember it her voice rings in my ears shouting "Ootaniiiii"
