Hisashiburi!

Mina! Hisashiburi! It's been like 3 months? More? Well, never mind. A lot has happened in those last three months like for example me getting a job and quitting the job (That was too fast! I know… but I had my reasons). I took the entrance exam for the master's degree (yes! Me!) and I am currently waiting for the results. I should know within a couple of days, I might have not finished this post yet when the results are announced. I caught up with Naruto: Shippuden, I watched Hanasakeru Seishun, Kuroko no basket and I am currently watching Hakuouki. I discovered this brilliant soundtrack from that weird anime and it's playing in my head right now. I attended another anime related event: Summer Cosplay Party, hosted by Egycon organizers, and it was great (I bought stuff! :3 ). I read 4 books, a trilogy and the first book in a series. I watched 3 J-dramas. I completed a 500-piece puzzle… with mum. She did most of it. And, I ate, possibly the tastiest fried chicken sandwich I've had in a long while. Surely, I've done other stuff. It has been three months! But, that's all I can remember now. So, where do I start?

Maybe, the job? Well, I found a job online, I sent my CV and I got an interview. I was told ,after the interview and a small test, to start work the next day so it all happened so fast. It was a small design studio. I tried different kinds of stuff, and I realized, I'm really not interested! However, everyone was satisfied with my work so I thought I'd try harder to be interested, but I just couldn't and things happened. Conclusion, I realized I am not suited for that kind of work: physically, mentally or socially. And, that was around the time I decided to take the master's entrance exam. I came up with an interesting topic and I thought I'd give it a try. I will not talk about it now, since I don't know if I am accepted or not. I don't feel comfortable talking about it when I don't how things will end up. Now, let's go to what matters more than any job in the world! Anime! XD 

So, I caught up with Naruto, and I've got to say I'm disappointed. Naruto was more than awesome! And then it just kept getting from bad to worse. I'm still watching of course, I mean it's Naruto! I cannot just drop it. I love that anime. It's really a shame how things got so weird, cheesy and boring. Let's move to Hanasakeru Seishounen, and that's another boring for you! Hanasakru Saishounen is a shoujo anime but unlike most of the shoujo anime it's a bit long: 39 episodes. The anime is different from your typical shoujo manga with a high school setting. It involves politics, action and stuff like that. It's a reverse Harem. The main character Kajika was kind of interesting in the beginning, and different, but the closer we go to the end the more boring she became. As for the guys who happen to be four, I like all of them generally. And like most of the shoujo anime, she ends up with the most predictable and boring one. I knew she would but deep down I was wishing she'd surprise me. I guess that's my fault. Moving to the highlight of my anime-watching experience in the last 3 months: Kuroko no basket! I fell in love with it from the very first episode. I absolutely loved the story, the characters, the art and everything about it. I think I should write about it in a separate post or this post will be too long. As for Hakuouko, I haven't finished it yet, so I'll talk about it later, but, for now let's say that the best thing about it is the art. Now what? The soundtrack, yes! I discovered that one yesterday. I was playing that game where I have to recognize the anime from the soundtrack (yes, I had that much free time) and I came up on one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. I don't think I'll ever watch the anime though.

Our next stop: Summer Cosplay Party. Well, that was good! For starters, I bought lots of stuff: key chains, pins, t-shirts, necklace and an alarm clock (a cute One Piece themed one). I usually don't buy stuff because I am a very hesitant person and I can't make fast decisions, so that was good for a change. There was like 50 – 60 cosplayers, and a cosplay contest which was kind of cool and funny. There was karaoke; I missed that and I don't really mind. All in all, it felt good being there with people who share your interests and don't think you're weird or childish. Oh! I forgot the most important part! In preparation for the awaited event, I, and Summar, designed our own anime themed t-shirts. They were kind of matching and they were so cool! I love them! 

Now, the four books.. Well, the trilogy was Rachel Hawkin's Hex Hall. It's about Sophie Mercer a witch who goes to a boarding school for the Prodigium (Supernaturals) trouble makers called Hecate Hall for using her magic in public. There she meets friends and foes, and faces all kinds of mysteries. It was a very enjoyable read, but very predictable all the same. The characters were likable but lacked depth. All in all, it was good, except for the rushed ending, of course. As for the fourth book, it's the first in a series and it's called A Throne of Glass, it's about a notorious, young, female assassin who joins a competition to be the king's champion, in exchange for her freedom.  I liked the idea and I was excited about the competition but I didn't get much of that. Instead, I got a long mystery, and a love triangle. It was good, indeed, but it could have been much better.

The Japanese dramas… Well now they were Papa to musume no nanokakan, a comedy, family drama, funny and enjoyable; Buzzer Beat a sports drama that turned out to be a romance drama actually, and Kaseifu no Mita which was kind of weird and troubling but it was good, I looked forward to watching it.

Now, let's skip the puzzle and get to the sandwich. A new Texas Chicken branch opened nearby, so I got myself last Friday's dinner from there: a Mexicana Sandwich, and it was brilliant! The chicken tasted and felt good, the Jalapeno sauce was just perfect not too spicy or too bland, and the nachos on top made it my ideal chicken sandwich! Now, I'm hungry!

Music for the soul

In an attempt to balance this crazy stream of Naruto related posts, I present to you a piece of music! :D
After more than 30 Japanese dramas, I can confidently say that Japanese composers are among the best there are. We've enjoyed a great variety of soundtracks that help set the mood from joy, sorrow, excitement to pure comedy!
So, today I chose a soundtrack that is amongst my favorites and hopefully you'll enjoy it as well ^_^
Hit play, close your eyes, imagine a brilliant sky full of midnight stars, you're lying on your back on the roof of a small harbored boat, you're with your dearest friends listening to the music of the silenced night not wanting to break the silence but feeling that security of having someone around.

Glass no Kamen

       Glass no Kamen is a classic shoujo manga. It has been there since the 70s. It has been adapted into two anime an old version in 1984 and new longer version in 2005. I watched the new one and I'll talk about it here.

        The manga is kind of tragic, and there's barely any jokes. So, if you can't take anime with no comic relief, then this one is not for you. Though, the newer version is from 2005, which is relatively new, it still feels old. Most probably because the art of the manga itself is an old school. It somehow resembles that of Rose of Versailles, and other manga which were released in the 70s. The new anime modifies the art a bit, to modernize it, but it still has the old feel to it.

          As for the story: the main character Kitajima Maya lives alone with her mother. She also works as a delivery girl at the restaurant where her mother is employed. Maya loves acting. She's obsessed with dramas and she dreams of attending plays. One day, while she was doing a little act for some children in the street, a woman sees her and she's fascinated. She calls her the girl with the thousand masks. The woman happens to be the famous former actress Tsukikage Chigusa. She starred in the famous play known as the Crimson Goddess. However, one day she had an accident on the stage that scarred her face and she could never act again. Before he dies, the director of the play gave her the copy rights to the play. Many entertainment firms tried to buy the rights from her, but she would never give it up, since there was no suitable actress for her role. Tsukikage sees potential in Maya and she decides to teach her acting and see what she can come up with. Maya's mother completely rejects the idea. So, Maya runs away from home. Maya seems to have a promising talent, and Tsukikage is willing to go to any extent to make her into the Crimson Goddess. However, Maya is not the only one in the acting business that aims for the role. The talented Himekawa Ayumi, he daughter of an actress and a director, has always dreamt of the role. Maya's acting is unique and creative, but Ayumi's is perfect. Ayumi, also, has the factors of beauty, wealth and elegance, which Maya lacks. So, which one will be the Crimson Goddess?

        Another side story line is Maya's romance life. Like, the majority of shoujo anime, we, basically have a love triangle. There's Sakurakouji Yuu, whom Maya meets in Ondine's theatre acting school. He he likes Maya, but she's oblivious to his feelings; so, he moves on and gets another girlfriend. As Maya becomes a more famous actress, they grow far apart. They get to work together much later on, and it seems they might still have something going. As for the other guy, that's the complicated one. Hayami Masumi is the vice president and adopted son of the president of Daito Entertainment Company. He gets on the bad side of Maya from the beginning because of the tense relation between him and Tsukikage. Many times he's been involved in incidents that cause Maya to despise him. For Maya's future as an actress, he keeps the role of the villain. However from behind the scenes, he plays the role of her anonymous faithful fan who sends her purple roses after every performance. That' how he gains the name "Murasakibara no hito". When Hayami realizes his feelings for her three things stop him: one is the age gap, since he's older than her with 11 years, another is that he's engaged to a very nice woman who is an heiress to a wealthy family, and finally because Maya despises him wholeheartedly and for very good reasons. So, does Maya ever get to know the identity of Murasakibara no hito? And who does Maya end up with? That's another thing to look forward to.

      So, do you get the answers for these questions by the end of the anime? No!

Well then, by the end of the Manga? No!

And, there's your big letdown! The manga has been there since the 70s but it's not over yet. Not just that, the manga-ka decided that she's not finishing the manga since God hasn't granted her permission, yet. -_- So, our lady most probably doesn't know how to end it, or she doesn't want to end it, something of that sort.

       I've watched the anime a few months ago but why I decided to write about it today is because I woke up and one of the soundtracks from the anime was playing in my ears. This anime had some nice soundtracks. Though it has been only a few months ago, but hearing them makes me feel nostalgic. Here's my favorite and, I think, the best track in Glass no kamen (2005).

My Top Favorite 40 Anime Endings (IV)

        Here's the fourth and the final post of my top favorite 40 anime endings. Today I'll be listing the endings from 10 to 1. The order in today's list means nothing. I like all these endings almost the same. You'll notice two things in this post: I'll repeat the word nostalgic a lot and I can't help it, and the 90s will rule in the list. So let's begin the countdown!

10) "Yuki no Tsubasa" by redballoon - Gintama Ending no. 3

       This is my first favorite Gintama Ending. I used to watch Gintama during the final exams weeks, and it was my favorite time of the day. I remember how I loved this ending so much and didn't want it to end. I, absolutely like the song, it made me feel relaxed, and now it makes me feel nostalgic.

09) "Memories" by Maki Otsuki - One Piece Ending no.1

       I will not comment on the outstanding graphics. XD Anyway, the song for the ending is  called Memories, and I'd say it's aptly named. It reminds me of the early One Piece, the nights when I'd watch it and keep watching till dawn. It reminds me of the end of the Alabasta arc, it reminds me of too many things. Listening to it certainly feels nostalgic. Also, the song itself is good anyway

08) "Heart of Sword - Yoake Mae" by T.M. Revolution - Rurouni Kenshin Ending no.3

      That Ending was my absolute favorite 10 years ago. Now, when i watch it I laugh at the animation, I don't know but they look weird and specially Megumi. Anyway, I still like it for what it means to me, and for the awesome song!

07) "Kirameku Toki ni Torawarete (煌めく瞬間に捕らわれて)" by Manish - Slam Dunk Ending no.3

         I don't know what is it about Slam Dunk endings that makes me feel painfully nostalgic. May be it's because the picture looks old, or maybe because it's night in the ending, and maybe because that was my absolute favorite childhood anime and one that influenced me. I don't know, anyway, I like the idea of this ending. I like how we see the belongings of the Shohoku team members, thought it feels kind of lonley, I don't know why. XD I love the singer's voice and the song itself. The beginning may seem normal, but  the chorus is perfectly amazing!!

06) "Anata Dake Mitsumete'ru (あなただけ見つめてる)" by Ooguro Maki - Slam Dunk Ending no.1

        I can repeat almost every word I said about the previous ending, and say it about this one, except the song overall is good and not especially the chorus!

05) "Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai (美しき残酷な世界)" by Yoko Hikasa - Shingeki no Kyojin Ending no.1

        The SONG!! It's perfect!! The voice, the music, the tune, everything!! The animation goes perfectly with it. Its a very good ending, though it reminds me of the creepiest thing about Mikasa and Eren. XD

04) "Sekai ga Owaru Made Wa (世界が終るまでは...)" by WANDS - Slam Dunk Ending no.2

       I said about the other two Slam Dunk endings that they make me feel painfully nostalgic, and this one is no different. It possibly makes me feel so even more. I love that it features Sakuragi with his friends in the beginning. I like those guys!! <3 The part with Sakuragi walking alone dribbling the ball feels kind of lonely. The last part in the ending is significant,  I remember it clearly from 11 years ago, after the game with Shoyo. <3

03) "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou (1/3 pure heart emotion)" by Siam Shade - Rurouni Kenshin Ending no.6

        I've known this ending for like 10 years, and I liked it. I loved the song and the singer's voice which for 7 years I thought was a woman, and then I had my big shock. I would have never believed it's a guy until I've seen him singing it with my eyes. I watched a live video for the band singing it, and yes it was a guy. I still can't imagine in my head a guy singing the song when I hear it. This ending is good and I think it might be the best Rurouni Kenshin ending in terms of animation. The animation is good and it goes well with the song. 

02) "∞ Loop (∞ループ)" by heidi - Kaichou wa maid sama Ending no.2

      I like Shoujo anime but they can never be my favorite. I liked Kaichou wa maid-sama but it was not even my favorite shoujo anime. So, for its ending to come this far in the list then the song must be something extraordinary, and for me, yes it is!! When I had my brother listen to the song, he said " You know when you hear a song and you get the impression that the singer was happy singing it?" and yes, that's how I exactly feel! The chorus makes me wanna jump and dance! I don't know if he was really happy, but I feel happy when I listen to it and that's all that matters. :D

01) "Tactics" by The Yellow Monkey - Rurouni Kenshin Ending no.1

      Tactics was the very first Japanese song I hear. It was also the very first Japanese song I like! That was about 10 years ago when I heard it in the end of Rurouni Kenshin. I didn't know back then that endings change and I was completely let down when it did. I hated the next one with a passion. When I re-watched Rurouni Kenshin a few months ago, I still liked this ending the best. The song is marvelous, and the singer's voice suits it. The full version has this brilliant electric guitar solo. I, also, like the art and the colors in it.


      Here are a couple of honorary mentions, and like I said before honorary mentions here don't mean what they usually mean. They are endings that I forgot about and they are no less favorite than the endings on the list.

*"My Friend (マイフレンド)" by Zard - Slam Dunk Ending no. 4

Since, the three other Slam Dunk Endings are here in the list, so I thought I shouldn't leave this one out, since it's very good. It's just that I couldn't remember it from last time I watched it.

* "The Real Folk Blues" by The Seatbelts feat. Mai Yamane - Cowboy Bebop Ending

     I completely forgot about this one when I was making the list. It deserves to be there. The song is very good, and  I like the singer's voice. Also, the animation, the colors and the atmosphere go well with the song.

*"Kiss ~ Kaerimichi no Love Song" by Tegomass - Lovely Complex Ending no.1

* "BON BON" by Hey! Say! 7 -  Lovely Complex Ending no.2

      Here's another anime that I completely forgot about and it had two really good endings. The first one is very nice generally, I like the song and the idea. As for the second one, you know the part when they say "Bon bon bon..." ? That's why it's here! XD

     That was all! It was fun listing my favorite endings, and ordering them was exhausting, but it's okay, since the list won't change for a long time to come.

My Top Favorite 40 Anime Endings (III)

          Konnichiwa! Here's another 10 of my top favorite 40 anime endings, the ones from 20 to 11; and starting from 20 the endings are not favorites of mine just because the song is good. It's mostly because they bring some good memories with them, too. Starting no.15 up to 1, the order doesn't really matter because I like them all almost the same.

20) "WHITE of CRIME" by REVALCY - Magic Kaito 1412 Ending

The anime is new, still in its 6th episode, so it's definitely not about the memories here :D It's purely the song! It's just so cool! 

19) "Answer" by NO3B - Beelzebub Ending no.1

Here it's the song too, and Oga looking priceless in the end! XD

18) "Yume no Tsuduki e" by surface - D.Gray-man Ending no.3

I like the chorus in the song very much! It feels kind of cheerful which is rare in D.Gray-man endings

17) "Life" by YUI - Bleach Ending no.5

I feel guilty about not placing it higher. I was very obsessed with the song back when I heard it 4 years ago, and I still like it. That's one ending with a good song , and it certainly brings back memories. 

16) "Alumina" by Nightmare - Death Note Ending no.1

That's ,most definitely, a very well executed ending: song, animation, colors, everything. It certainly deserves a higher rank. It's only fault is that it's Death Note's ending and I don't like it. XD

15) "Yume Sketch (夢スケッチ)" by JAM Project - Bakuman 3 Ending

Bakuman! <3 T_T That definitely brings memories, even if they're not faraway back. By the way, the pictures in the ending change every episode. It's like they're reminding you of all the three seasons.

14) "Speed of Flow" by The Rodeo Carburettor - Gintama ending no.8

Very cool music, the sunset, a motorcycle .... and Elizabeth in leather jacket! XD I mean the song sounds kind of serious, and the atmosphere inflicts it too, but then comes Elizabeth, I laugh, and the mood is ruined XD Well, that's Gintama for you! My brother was telling me a while ago that I'm making a big mistake if I don't make this ending my no.1! :D

13) "Shura" by DOES - Gintama Ending no. 5

Benizakura! This is one cool ending! and I've got to say they did a great job with the song. They used it properly to make the Benizakura arc even more cool than it already was.

12) "Life is Like a Boat" by Rie Fu - Bleach Ending no.1

One of the earliest Japanese songs I heard, and fell in love with. The music, and Rie Fu's voice are so good. Also, the English sounds like English, no offense to anyone XD 

11) "Fourth Avenue Cafe" by L'Arc~En~Ciel - Rurouni Kenshin Ending no.4

May be I should have placed it higher since it has too much Saito in it. XD It doesn't make a difference anyway, I like them all the same. Something I didn't like about this ending and another one I'll come to later (Here's a spoiler :D ) is that they use parts from the anime without any modifications to make it feel more like an ending. However, I like the song and I like how I feel when I watch it. I like the atmosphere of Rurouni Kenshin in general.

         Konnichiwa! Today I'll be listing my favorite anime endings from 30 to 21. I tried not to be emotional, but I failed. Endings that bring memories are the ones placed higher, even if there are better ones. However, since this list is of "My" top favorite 4o endings, and this is "My" blog (and Summar's of course), I'll stop excusing myself, and that's the way it is! B)

30) "RUN! RUN! RUN!" by Maki Otsuki - One Piece Ending no.2

What I liked most about this ending is that it had a different version every episode featuring a different squad. I was waiting eagerly for the endings featuring my favorite squads.

22) "Crescendo" by Stella Quintet - La Corda d'oro: primo passo  Ending no. 1

I wanted to place this ending and the next one higher, since the songs are really good, but that's where my emotions got me. There are other endings that are more dear to me, even if their songs aren't the best. :D

21)"Kaze to Oka no Ballad (風と丘のバラード)" by Real Paradis with Nodame Orchestra - Nodame Cantabile Final Ending

My Top Favorite 40 Anime Endings (I)

          So, after listing my favorite 50 anime openings, I'll start listing my favorite 40 endings. Why 40 not 50? No reason why. That's to how many I could reduce them. Ending themes are usually less flashy than the openings, they're not given as much attention. So, here I will mostly be ranking them by how good the songs used for the endings are. The animation will play a part but not as big as with the openings; and of course, like with the openings the order won't be very exact. Let's just say that if I represent my liking to the endings from 40 to 1 graphically, the curve will be, generally, going up; and that was very nerdy -_- Anyway, let's start the list;

40) "Namida (ナミダ)" by 2BACKKA - Skip Beat! Ending no.1

39) "Vanilla Salt (バニラソルト)" by Yui Horie - Toradora Ending no.1

38) "Orange (オレンジ)" by Rie Kugimiya, Yui Horie, and Eri Kitamura - Toradora Ending no.2

37) "Gomen ne, Watashi. (ごめんね, 私。)" by Shiho Nanba - Fairy Tail Ending no.3

36) "Kono Te Nobashite" (この手伸ばして; "Reach Out This Hand") by Hi-Fi Camp - Fairy Tail Ending no.9 

35)  "Antoinette Blue" by Kitade Nana - D.Gray-man Ending no.4

        What makes me really annoyed at this ending is that they cancel my favorite part in the full version of the song! We skip from this part to that part just like that! -_-

         I like the song, but I also like the part When Robin wakes everyone up to see the shooting stars. :)

My Top Favorite 50 Anime Openings (V)

          So, here we are! Finally, the top 10! Since, they made it here, so I should have like him so much, and naturally it 'd be harder for me to rank them. So, let's just say, that I do like the ones from 15 - 1 better than the rest. :D

10)"Tougenkyou Alien (桃源郷エイリアン)" by serial TV drama - Gintama Opening theme no.9

            I like opening themes that truly expresses the anime, and this one doesn't just do that; it define Gintama! The crazy, comical atmosphere and all the characters, literally! The song is weird and good all the same! (The full version is awesome!) Also, Kamui and Abuto are looking so cool here! XD It's a very good opening theme. It was the first one, after Gintama's return and it was worthy of that!

9) "INNOCENT SORROW" by abingdon boys school - D.Gray-man Opening theme no. 1

             I have two things to say about this opening: the beginning (especially the part when the D.Gray-man logo appears) and the keyboard music that starts near the end ! 

8) "½" by Makoto Kawamoto - Rurouni Kenshin Opening no. 2

            New Kyoto!! You see the part when she starts saying "kawaribanko de PEDARU wo koide ...", you hear the beat that starts with it? and that flashing? and Shishio's folk? That's cool! And you see Hajime Saitou later there? Well, he's cool, and that has absolutely nothing to do with the opening! XD .....I Just love this opening so much! 

7) "Pray" by Tommy heavenly6 - Gintama Opening theme no. 1

I noticed that most of the time I prefer the first opening theme for anime. May be that has mostly to do with the memories, and the facts that it's what started it. Apart from the fact that the song here is so good and the chorus is awesome, I think that was the case with this opening. 

6) "the WORLD" by Nightmare - Death Note Opening theme no. 1

            Death Note might be one of my least favorite anime, but that opening theme is something different. The song is perfect. The animation is perfect. They go well together and it makes the anime feel so cool! It gives you those dark vibes!

5) "Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai" by BAAD - Slam Dunk Opening theme no. 1

             Dear old 90s! You were awesome! Another brilliant 90s anime with a brilliant opening theme that brings you these good irreplaceable memories! When I first heard the song, it was not exactly it. I heard the Arabic version, which has completely different lyrics, when I was watching Slam Dunk on Spacetoon (Arabic animation channel), and I got used to it. Much later, when I heard the Japanese version, it felt weird. The Arabic singers' voice was much tougher, so the Japanese felt thin and weird. However, later on when I got used to it, the Arabic version started to sound too rough :D. Naturally, my favorite part is the chorus, especially its start "Kimi ga suki da to sakebitai ... Ashita wo kaete miyou". My brother is rather specific here; he likes the "Ashita wo kaete miyou" the best XD

4) "Guren no Yumiya (紅蓮の弓矢)" by Linked Horizon - Shingeki no Kyojin Opening theme no.1

             This is one opening theme that I'd never skip whatever it is I've been dying to see; and you see the part with "Shikabane fumikoete  susumu ishi wo  warau buta yo", Brilliant!!

3) "Uragiri no Yuuyake (裏切りの夕焼け; Sunset of Betrayal)" by Theatre Brook - Durarara!! Opening theme no.1

            First I'd like to note that I dropped Durarara!! at episode 3. I'm not saying it's a bad anime, but it might be not exactly my type. I was thinking I might give it another try one day. Though I dropped it I couldn't forget about one perfectly awesome opening theme! The magnificent song, the way the characters are introduced, the colors, the animation... how can something be so good?!

2) "Again" by YUI - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Opening theme no. 1

             Yui's voice sounds young, but it's kind of captivating, and in this specific song, she's brilliant! Again is the only Fullmetal Alchemist: brotherhood that grabbed my attention and like. I suppose it's the only one, because it was the first one,and nothing can possibly match something so good as this. I don't need to stress on how well the song and the animation go together. 

1) "Kiss of Monochrome" by SID - Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) Opening theme no. 1 Version 2

             Here's an opening theme that I liked to watch even more the anime itself! XD Black Butler is a fine anime, but not the best. I enjoyed watching it but I don't think I'd place it in my top 15, don't know about 20. However, that opening theme is something different! I looked forward to watching it, even more than the anime. The song itself is brillaint! One of my all time favorites, indeed! The splendid chorus, and the guitar right before it starts! Amazing!! 

          And that was all! My top favorite 50 anime Opening! I have a couple of honorary mentions. I know that this means that they were so close to getting into the 50 but they didn't make it. However, that's not the case here. It's just that I've forgot about them and realized it after finishing the list. I did't feel like messing it up so I decided to just mention them later. So, they could have been anywhere on the list.

*We Go! by Hiroshi Kitadani - One Piece Opening theme no. 15

          I don't know how I could forget about it. However, here it is! Kicking off to the new world! :D

*We Are Remix by TVXQ - One Piece Opening no. 10

          I usually don't like remixes, but this one was so good, and I absolutely loved the video for this opening. It brought back memories, and everyone one looked so cool in it! :D

-"zero" by Ikuta Aiko - Glass no kamen (2005) Opening 2 

          It's a good combination: song and animation. I like how everything is connected.

My Top Favorite 50 Anime Openings (IV)

        Min'na! Konnichiwa! We're coming close to the end. Today I'll be listing another 10 opening themes from my top favorite 50, the ones from 20-11, and here we go!

20) "Ichirin no Hana" by High and Mighty Color - Bleach Opening theme no. 3

        Why is it ranked this high? Trust me I don't know. I like how it starts and ends. The animation is sometimes in sync with the song and sometimes not. The song itself is fine, not the best, but fine.

19) "Tooi Nioi (遠い匂い)" by YO-KING - Gintama Opening theme no. 2

        It feels so much like Gintama! The laid back atmosphere, and the relaxed singer's voice, it's just so good! It makes me feel kind of nostalgic too! :)

18) "Doubt & Trust" by access - D.Gray-man Opening theme no. 3

         This is one weird opening theme that I absolutely like, back then when I watched the anime. It was the opening theme at the peak of the anime, with many new characters showing up and I liked all of them. The song goes well with the animation, and it's kind of cool!

17) "Dream of Life" by Shohei Itou (伊藤祥平) - Bakuman 2 Opening theme

          Ok! How this came to be here, I don't know, but it completely deserves it. I didn't like it that much when I was watching Bakuman. It was my least favorite between Blue bird and 23:40. Lately, I noticed It's the most popular one and I was surprised, so I decided to watch it again and I was surprised by at myself! How comed I didn't like something so cool! The song, the animation, everything about it is so good! It has the essence of Bakuman!

16) "Fight Together" by Namie Amuro - One Piece Opening theme no. 14

          This one gives me the same feelings I get it from One Day, and especially that now we Know what has been waiting for us. However, it feels a little more hopeful with the crew seeming more active and cheerful here. The part that flashes back to Luffy's moments with each member of the crew is just so…!!! <3 <3 I cannot express it in words. A good opening theme with a nice song for sure!

15) "Jiyuu no Tsubasa (自由の翼)" by Linked Horizon - Shingeki no Kyojin Opening theme no. 2

           The problem is I liked the first one so much, so it took me time to get used to it. Later on, I could actually say that the song in this opening theme is possibly better than the first, even if the video is not as good. It's good, but I like the other one better. Bottom line, it's GOOD!

14) "Sobakasu" by Judy & Mary - Rurouni Kenshin Opening theme no. 1

          You might be taken aback by the singer's childish voice, but this song is so good and this opening theme is really one of the best. Actually, anything that has to do with Rurouni Kenshin is just perfect! XD

13) "Velonica" by Aqua Timez - Bleach Opening theme no. 9

           My favorite Bleach opening theme, indeed. I love the song, and I like how the animation goes with it. I like seeing the groups showing one after another, ending finally by Aizen when the song starts to change. They go very well together. I was addicted to this song for a long while. Aqua timez are that good after all. :D

12) "DONTEN (曇天)" by DOES - Gintama Opening theme no. 5

           Does are awesome! And this opening them is just so cool! Another Gintama opening theme with serious atmosphere, and the first to be so. The song goes perfectly well with the animation and its pace. Cool is the perfect word to describe it! Even Hasegawa is looking cool here!! XD

11) "We Are! (ウィーアー!)" by Hiroshi Kitadani - One Piece Opening theme no. 1

         Well, this one is a classic! It's the first and the best One Piece opening. I don’t know if this is the best song, and I definitely know that this is not the best animation, but watching it and listening to the song ,sure brings back some of my best memories. I'm pretty sure We Are! hold a special place in the hearts of all One Piece fans.
