Character: Terk (توكة)
Known from: Tarzan (animated movie 1999)
Role: Supporting role
Age: She's the same age as Tarazan
About the character: Terk is a female gorilla whose aunt is Kala. Kala, of course, is Tarzan's adopted mother so that makes Terk his adopted cousin. Terk is short for Terkina, besides being cousins she is also Tarzan's best friend.

She's a bit of a tomboy who loves playing around and believes Tarzan is as much a gorilla as she is. She's very caring, especially when it comes to her friends. She's loud and bossy and absolutely loves music. Who can ever forget her song in the camp :D

I also love her when she was just a little baby, and that first time she holds Tarzan, just pure cuteness ^_^ Watching them grow together and she thinking that she's superior to Tarzan, she starts ordering him around. She's the one who got him to attempt to catch an elephant's tail hair getting everyone in trouble.

 
 She's a loyal friend who stands by Tarzan, when she sees him falling for Jane and together with Tantor help him when they had trouble with Clayton.

I've always liked Terk and her facial expressions interested me the most. I also loved the actress who voiced her in the Arabic dubbed version (unfortunately I don't know her name) anyway the Arabic version makes the movie so much funnier and definitely Terk more lovable :D
