About the song: Fireflies is the debut song for the album Ocean eyes. It features Matt Thiessen as a guest vocalist. It's a song about insomnia, summer and fireflies :D It's a fun light song with good music. I've known this song for so long and has stuck with me for all those years.

The song has topped charts in several countries including USA, UK, Australia, Belgium and Denmark. It was the band's only song to reach the US top 40 for three years.
It was featured in a promotional video for Sony's Eye pet, and was in the downloadable content in Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band 3.

The music video is very nice featuring Adam Young of Owl City playing an organ in a bedroom filled with toys and they come to life and start moving around.

It's a light summery song that I'll always enjoy so make sure to check it out ;)
