As time goes by, Gretta sets aside her dream and plays the supportive girlfriend for Dave, but Dave starts losing himself to the music and is not how he used to be with Gretta.
Fate brings Gretta to Dan a failed music company producer, who hears her singing in a bar and is lured in by her unique song. The two together decide to start a journey of producing an album, but with style!

My rating: 7.7/10
My review: It was late September and I was on this incredibly boring vacation with some family. I was on the verge of madness with nothing to do and thank God I had this movie with me among others.
It's a lighthearted movie that is perfect for a summery night in. The music was good, not as awesome as I would've wanted it to be, but satisfying. I liked the original score in both versions Adam's and Keira's.
What actually drew me to the movie was Mark Ruffalo, I've loved him ever since Just like heaven :D He did a great job and he could just blend in with any sort of cast and Keira Knightly wasn't as annoying as her other movies. Adam Levine was a perfect fit for the jerk boyfriend (excuse the language but the word fits him :D).

The atmosphere was so cheerful, watching them make that album feels fun and lets us have a glimpse of different settings around New York.
The best thing about this movie was the relationships whether Dan and Gretta's friendship (finally the main characters can be friends and not fall in love!!) or Dan and his family. The band was very cool as well and how they brought them together.

Finally, the movie is a nice one that could be great when you're feeling down and need some cheering up ;)
