Plot: Takuya (سامي) is a fifth grader with a nice happy life that shatters when his mother passes away in a tragic car accident. Now he has to help his father take care of his two year old brother Minoru (وسيم). What's challenging for Takuya is that he doesn't have the time to deal with his own feelings, because his father is working a lot to support the family and he is left to care for Minoru.

I've loved this anime for so many years, from it's song (the Arabic one with the angelic voice of Rasha Rizk) to the plot and the characters. It just affected us so much :D The relationship between Takuya and Minoru is heart warming to watch. For Takuya to stop hating Minoru for reminding him of his mother or affecting his normal school life, then him realizing that Minoru considers him his mother, friend and brother and finally coming to terms with his duties towards his brother and father.

Friendship is also important in this show. Tadashi and Akihiro are Takuya's classmates and friends who also have younger siblings around Minoru's age. They help Takuya and stand by his side in his times of need and by just being his friend they help him get through some dark days. There were also those noisy neighbors who helped at times :D

I also loved Harumi, Takuya and Minoru's father. He always had a gentle smile and high spirits. You could always know he felt guilty for working so many hours, but he had no choice. I remember he had lots of scenes in the kitchen in that apron cooking dinner or doing the dishes :D He was a nice father ^_^

Watching this anime on Spacetoon as a child makes you realize this channel was truly amazing. I mean for them to broadcast such inspiring anime for children is just great. It teaches you a lot about life, family and friendship. Re-watching a couple of episodes from this anime about a year ago also made me realize that they have great sense of morals. I found out Spacetoon had edited some scenes only because they mention girlfriends or something of that sort. Anyway this anime is one of the special ones that you just love, so make sure you don't miss it.
